I borrowed a book recently titled
therapeutic landscapes. I haven't read it. I suspect the title is the most appealing detail but considering I have always been effected by my environment it got me thinking about my current transience - living out of boxes in various kind and generous peeps houses. Packing up and leaving the space we had called home for the previous year was the start of an adventure spurred on by an untimely eviction and a rental market out of control. Living in other peoples houses = the chance to save for a house deposit and do something I never thought would be possible. And so for now, I am surrounded by just a few of my things that help to create a sense of home wherever I may be.
