EPHEMERAL

I love this photo taken by s - looks more like an etching but is a beautiful and fleeting shadow of a glass bottle.

A LITTLE BIT CHURCHY

Finally I have finished a project that called for patience. I have been waiting for  years to use these beautiful glass pieces I found in an op shop, apparently once destined for a Brunswick church. I have drilled each piece and connected by wire and inset into a hardwood fence.

ONCE I WAS A PLUM TREE

Yep, that's what happens when you are old and don't produce enough fruit. Orb woven from plum branches and wire. Sits atop a stump .... cause that's what happens if you are a weedy pine tree on my watch.

PAPER FLORA

Made from old maps - cut/folded and sewn. I made these a while ago but my love for maps has not been forgotten. More to come.

SLOWLY SOMETHING

It has been a year of destruction in the garden. What was a white fly infested jungle of ugly allsorts with stubborn root systems is slowly becoming something. My back tells me enough and yet ....

FENCE ME IN

Rotting fallen down planks and bland old lattice pulled apart, sawn and hammered into new configurations = free fence and the satisfaction of giving new life to old materials.
